1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Movy, including our websites, applications, AI characters, generated content, and related services (the “Service”). The Service is provided by FilterSnap Tech Limited. By accessing or using Movy, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. AI Characters and Outputs
Movy provides simulated characters powered by artificial intelligence. Characters are not real people and do not possess consciousness, emotions, or personal relationships. AI responses and generated media may be inaccurate, fictional, incomplete, or unexpected.
Movy is not a medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional service, and is not an emergency service. Do not rely on AI output as professional advice or use Movy when immediate assistance is required.
4. Your Content
4.1 Responsibility
You remain responsible for messages, prompts, images, videos, feedback, and other materials you submit (“User Content”). You must have the rights and permissions needed to use and submit User Content, including permission from people who appear in uploaded media.
4.2 Limited license
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, process, transmit, and display User Content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, comply with law, and deliver the results you request. This license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except where retention is required by law or reasonably necessary for security and enforcement.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use Movy to:
- Violate law or the rights of another person;
- Create, request, upload, or distribute child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving minors;
- Create or distribute pornographic, sexually explicit, exploitative, non-consensual, or abusive content;
- Harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, or exploit another person;
- Generate hateful, violent, illegal, or deliberately harmful material;
- Upload content without the necessary rights, consent, or authorization;
- Probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or bypass security or safety controls;
- Use automated means to scrape or access the Service without our written permission.
We may review, block, remove, or report content and suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, or comply with law.
6. Subscriptions and Purchases
Movy may offer subscriptions or other paid features. Prices, included benefits, billing periods, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions will be shown before purchase. Mobile purchases may be processed by Apple or Google and are also governed by the applicable store terms. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable after the relevant service has been provided.
7. Intellectual Property
Movy, including its software, characters, branding, interface, and service content, is owned by or licensed to FilterSnap Tech Limited and is protected by intellectual property law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
8. Service Changes and Termination
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may limit or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or harm, fail to pay applicable fees, or if required by law. You may stop using Movy at any time and may delete conversations using the controls we provide.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We disclaim all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and that AI outputs will meet your expectations.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilterSnap Tech Limited and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of the Service.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use Movy after updated Terms become effective means you accept them.
